I've got MPC (what I had at time of getting my girls) and Diatom in their dust bath and they look like they totally love it. Was thinking bout getting some play sand to put in there also (well until the grass is gone and they have started their own bath.

OOOOH NOOOO - I just put in a litter tray of dry sharp sand and they LOVE it. Pecking away and sitting in it! P'raps I should take it out quick so as not to hurt their tums  :( They do have a bowl of proper grit too - maybe it's just a novelty at the mo?
