I grew a variety called 'Inca' last year and it is an outdoor variety that did well. Its a plum tomato and good for cooking sauces etc.  I'm growing it again this year.

ive never had tomato success, get the flowers and some little green tomats but they never have time to ripen (i grow outdoors) so im trying  red alert on advice they are good for outdoor growing. im also trying some of the prev yrs varieties for comparison money maker and gold digger.
these 2 take all my time, whatever is left the veggies get, poor hubby is at the end of the queue.

I grew Inca (an F1 hybrid) it has really nice larce red plum toms, we grew it outside on our south facing patio. But it did succumb to blight, but so did everything else last year! I've never eaten so much green tomato relish!

oh yes, San Marzano are lovely and tasty  :D  First time I grew them in the greenhouse (this was after 3 years of blight after blight after blight so was taking no chances) and the plants grew enormous and were very productive.

Yes, but he is good, all the seeds i have got from him so far have had about 90% success rate, and he is "DEFRA" registered and inspected, i think i was lucky to find him as my first seed buyer, but then i did do some research on it first, his feedback is also excellent, he has a few complaints, but there more about the way he packs his seed (in plastic bag sealable things) and the instructions are on the website rather than the packet, but he makes all that quite clear when he sell them, and at 99p (and just one post) he is hard to beat on price, the stuff i have in the polly that most on the lotty have seen are impressed, and they now buy from him too, i understand your reservations about buying on line, but some are honest and true, and i think this is genuinely the case with this guy

I'm a fan of Premierseeds too. I've tried their San Marzano and liked them a lot.
