Cabbage whites

Hello all! All ready for our second year on the lottie, Iv'e seen lots of butterflies this year mostly the dreaded cabbage white and thought it was a bit early for them to be around in such numbers, anyone reckon they could go through their life cycle early and leave our crops alone later, or are we in for a bumper butterfly year? Cheers!

get some crop and pond netting from alfords near morrisons - they havent got thru it yet 

i saw one white little one gently fly close to me  , even though brassica's are netted, its not fine enough
