Hi all,

I have a question regarding eggs I have! People are wanting them off me, so I am obliging, but not sure if they are safe to eat or not! I know this sounds a daft question, but I don't want to be giving the eggs to people and making them Ill with something? How will I know? Or not?

are they fresh? are your chickens on any form of medication (except for flubenvet)? Are they wormed regularly?
If you can answer yes to the 1st question, no to the 2nd and yes to the 3rd then they should be absolutely fine.
Why do you think your eggs won't be ok?
Those that are in the supermarkets can be 3 weeks old before they even get to the shelves  .

Thanks for advice only thing I havent done is wormed them? What to do? and how? The eggs are always a few days at most!

Here's the thread on worming and Flubenvet.  You can also buy Marriages pellets with it already added and you have to make sure that they don't have any treats while they are having it so you can ensure that they get the full dose.
