... anyone had any luck growing it from seed??

Any handy hints and tips for growing hops full stop would be good.  Fankyoo!!

we have em growing wild not far from here i will see if there is any seed on them if ya like .no idea how they werk tho :roll:

I don't grow hops myself, but people who have them warn me that you'll have them everywhere and forever. Apparently there are a few tame hybrids available so you'll want those rather than Munty's born to be wild ones  :wink:

Grow them from plants rather than from seed, you'll have more success.

no seed left the frosts knocked em all out anyways  :wink: .. just cos the seed dont grow dont mean to say the planters no good  :wink:

I did not grow them from seed, germination is said not to be easy, but then all they need is a snap of cold to break dormancy, so if you want to try sow before winter cold sets in.

What do you want to grow them for? Because if you not making beer, etc then it does not matter, if they are female  or male, I think, and then seed is a much cheaper option. :wink:
