Hi advice again please 
one of my hens has been sitting in box for about 3 hrs (not usual 4 her)..
I have lifted the lid a couple of times and she fluffs up her feathers and sort of makes a threatening noise !! not a bok bok  .  the other two hens are in there run eating etc, how long should i leave her ? is she protecting the eggs or could she  be struggling ?
This has never happened before
Oh and its not the one that has been loosing its feathers (previous topic i posted)

so what do i do just leave her on the eggs as they all go in the same box ? and if so how long for ?

if you don't have a cockerel then the eggs wont be fertile. So I would just keep chucking her out of the nest box. Once they have all laid for the day then try blocking it off to stop her returning. She may stay broody for a couple of weeks and will go off laying.
