well pushrod me old matey i have been doing it for 40 yrs and my dad did afore me n his dada afore him we been farming of what sort or another for 5 generations n we always fed mash .. .. werks for me , and if ya cant be washing ya feeders daily anyway its bad husbandary where vermin is concerend and health...i wash out my drinkers daily as well and scrub them once a fortnight in winter n weekly in summer when the water heats up n algae foms on sides :wink: and i hasten to add ,i suffer very few occasions where my birds are sick  :wink:
