hi all i started 2 lots of tomatoes a few weeks back money makers & gardeners delight.
i pricked them out today & sown them into indivial little seedling trays & have put them out in 1 of them little plastic green houses giving them their first taste of the lovely weather were having today.

i have a night/day thermometer which i've been checking each day & night temps are creeping up the highest night temp so far has been 7.5c (thats in my little plastic green house).

i'm planning on putting these seedlings out during the day & bringing them back in during the night untill they are safe to leave outside all the time.

so i have 2 question's, when can i leave them out during the night ?
& when will be the best time to plant them in to the ground ?

would i be right in saying when night temps are over 10c

It's not the maximum nigt time temp you need to worry about, it's the minimum night time temp thats the problem.

My greenhouse got down to 2.5 celsius last night,  bit too chilly for the tomatoes yet.

Mine are only about an inch tall at the moment in the house so I don't need to worry yet though.

I have yet to sow my tomatoes that are destined for the great outdoors.

I sowed my outdoor ones today and they won't be planted out until late May, but they will go out to the greenhouse day and night before then.    

Where about in the country are you Greentoes as that will change the advice you get    Trouble is that although it is mild now, a late frost is possible right up until late May, even early June, depending on your location.

OK Greentoes, that makes you about the same as me so in theory we should be safe after mid-May, but don't take that as gospel.  If it has gone cold by then, hold off for a week or so longer
