Hello,

I bought a heated propagator under the advice of someone on this forum and I'd just like to know a few things:

1) It's 20 degrees C in here in the day so I take it I don't need it plugged in during the day. Do I leave it on overnight?

2) I have some flowers that need a temp of 13-16 degrees C, if it's 20 degrees C in the house what do I do? (Find a colder spot I expect)

3) One pack of seeds I have says to sow indoors under glass but does not specify a temperature. Does that mean it's okay for the temp to be high or low?

1) Things that need to be in the propogator won't mind the extra warmth during the day eg tomatoes chillis and aubergines.
2)You can just sow these in a seed tray in a plastic bag, away from sunny windowsills the temp indoors will be ok.
3) same answer as above

the propogator will need to be on overnight to maintain the warm temperature for the tender stuff.

An average house will be warm enough day and night for the rest to germinate and grow.
