stingy nettle problem

Can any1 help me to get rid of the sting nettles that keep growing  >:( i have tried all weed killers and nothing is working tried digging them out this has not worked helppppp they r now growing around my fruit trees x :mad:

A systemic weedkiller should do the trick, but you'll need to reapply it annually. Treat in spring when they first appear, as ours are now. You can treat later in the season too by breaking the stems so the weedkiller can get right in.

I make them into soup instead. :)

 This might sound daft but Turkeys just love to eat stingers. Like you I had stingers growing in with my fruit bushes so I put up a fence round the fruit bushes put in 2 Turkeys, not a stinger in sight now. ::)

A Nettle is a very nutritious crop and makes the best organic feed or even just chop and drop to feed other plants. We are making nettle dumplings and nettel soup. If you start using it you may find its not so much of a problem  :)

You can make 'nettle tea' like you would manure tea to sidedress crops, or even mix it in with others like comfrey. It'll really pong but be very beneficial to plants.
