On the Sky program Storage Wars - where unclaimed storage lockers are auctioned off in America...one buyer came across a box with sunglasses for chickens!

Back in thee 50's I think it was - a chicken farmer had problems with some of his flock being attacked by others when they had cut themselves and he invented these little sunglasses for all of his chickens and they neutralised the colour red and he fitted his whole flock with them.  They rested on the beak..they looked really cute when he tried a pair on a chicken.

Maybe they could be bought back for the designer minded chicken who likes to strut her stuff !!!!!!

Of course anyone spending money on these would want to know that they work, so a prospective manufacturer would probably have to conduct a trial, which would then be 'experimenting on animals', I think you can see where this is going...
