step over apple tree

Has anyone got a step over apple tree and advice on the best ones for this?
id like to grow one either this or next year.
i know im too late to plant bare rooted so i may wait until next year.

These have been discussed a few times. You could do a forum search, if no-one comes up with an answer..

the only varieties you can't use are tip bearers. any spur bearer will work. you can find out which a variety is by searching rhs website.
