pot bases
« on: March 07, 2012, 14:18 »
Hi there

Just wondered what people used underneath their pots when growing on window sills , I know with propagator modules you can take the lid off and use to water, but as its best to water from underneath I run out of bases to collect the water.  I bought these long troughs from B&Q, but then realised they are grooved, so bit of a disaster buy really.  I also have some capillary matting, which you dampen so I am using that, but just wondering how you can avoid getting the window sill soaked.!

Snap. Also got some wider, shallower trays from a cheap shop.
