Hi,

I hope somebody may be able to shed some light on this problem. This morning when I let my girls out I noticed that my Black Rock was quite unsteady on her feet and when she went to shake she lost her balance and fell over to the right hand side.  I have checked her over and she seems fine, she is eating, drinking and laying but she is moulting still.  Does any body have any suggestions

How old is she?  Have they been wormed recently, if so what with, and have you checked the coop for red mite?

She is 13 months old, they are all wormed monthly with marrages layers pellets with flublvet, and I can see no signs of red mite in their house.

I'd keep an eye on her and see how she is in the morning and if it continues it might be a good idea to get a poultry friendly vet to check her over.

I had the same yesterday and gave her a seringe full of water mixed with a little epsom salts (my nan swears on the stuff) by locking up time she was a lot better, hope your girl gets better
