Cheap chickhen coup
« on: October 20, 2007, 17:45 »
In a garden center just outside Milton Keynes. they are selling an ex display Chicken Coup FOR ONLY £35 .  It seems to be one where the run is at the bottom and the house is in the roof.

The staff available did not know the size because it was dismanteled but it looks about 2m x 1m And standing about 1 1/2 m.Thats a total guess looking at the Picture on the side.  I would say the wood work is faded but good.

It just seems such a bargain to me,I almost bought it even though I cannot keep chooks.

Sorry I didnot explain very well will try again.

In Milton Keynes in common with a lot of new towns, the keeping of certain animals.inc. Pigs And Poultry is strictly forbidden.

Each new house has a Covenant outlawing this (and many other things such as TV aeriels,Masts etc.).

When I first moved in thinking that I was on the edge of MK I thought I might get away with it.

Not wanting to spend all that money and face having to lose it I sought permission,And instead of a polite letter say no,I got a very strern warning making it very clear that they would seek an immediate injuction if I tried to do so now or at anytime in the future  :?

In the older parts some houses can and do keep chickens but it is very much frowned apon.

You are so right Aunty.

Did you know that MK council in common with a great many other councils have a pictures of our property taken by satellite.

They can see your front AND BACK gardens in great detail.A little like Goggle Earth but in more detail.

This is so they can tax you in the future for all home improvements and extentions ETC.

The spy really is in the sky.and its spying on all of us.
