I ordered some Mid Jan and they arrived within a week.
I ordered some more three weeks ago and no sign of them.

A plus is that the 1st lot of Tubers I ordered seem to be very good quality.

I ordered mine last year Bazial but no sign of them yet...  :(

Tried to check the delivery dates on line but I think their server is down.

Same here!  Ordered three varieties and no sign of any of them .... these were ordered first week in January. :-(

I'm pretty sure that the date due was before the end of February ... which was YESTERDAY!!

I ordered some a couple of years ago and came back from a weekend away to find they had been delivered and left in the snow on my doorstep. The box had frozen to the step!

As it turned out, they were fairly well packaged and did not turn into the mush I was expecting but I did contact them and suggest a change to their delivery policy.

This happened to me 2 years ago when I ordered from T&M, I got my potatoes quite late. When I asked the customer service about the whereabouts of my potatoes I only got a standard reply which was not helpful at all. Since then I buy my potatoes somewhere else and they are chitting nicely on the windowsill for several weeks now.

I am in the same boat. Ordered 6 varieties (6:1:12) and accepted the offers for plants, some of which have arrived but not the potatoes. My order form states delivery between January and May!!
There is no pressure yet but it would be nice to have them chitting.I did buy some rocket from another source and they are reading for planting.

Just called about my pots order (19th November) and was told that it would be 'sometime this month' so cancelled the order as they were due by end of Feb. Wilko for me in future I think.  :)

We fell for this last year.  it took ages for them to come and the pots were rather inferior.  This year we bought T and M pots at the garden centre.  Excellent quality and well worth the drive!  Sorry that they're still getting it wrong with the delivery failures  :(

I thought it was just me, but am sorry it's not!  Better luck next time, folks.

I ordered off them (not spuds), I recieved a letter saying the plants were not of satisfactory condition to send, They arrived the next day !

Er, they failed to grow & came to nothing. Had another failure since, got refunded, others not sent ect, but alas, stopped shopping with them.

A shame, they were really good a few years ago.

I took advantage of the free p&p & the special offers just before Christmas and mine arrived in mid January all in good condition.  I've ordered my seed potatoes from T&M for the past 4 years and touch wood, there's never been any delay - perhaps I've been exceptionally lucky by the sounds of it.

I know it's not always easy for some people to get to a local potato day or even a garden centre but the problem with online ordering is that you really have no control over the delivery date and if it happens to be minus 10 and they leave them outside you're screwed. You also have to accept the quality of the tubers they send or start all over again.

After attending the Caldbeck potato day and having a choice of over 100 varieties I will certainly not be ordering online again. We also have a stallholder in the local covered market who stocks a good range from late January so I can actually see what I'm buying.

The colour pictures in the catalogues look nice but you can't beat hands on!
