Organic potato fertiliser.

I bought some organic potato fertiliser today and it states on the box 'put in before planting potatoes'
How long before and is it too late?

If it's that pelleted sort, I bung it in at the same time as planting my spuds.

Not sure I haven't opened it and I've left it up the allotment.
It rattled though so I bet it is,I'll have a look tomorrow.

Same as Yorkie, I just sprinkle it around the tubers at planting time. I think that's the method that Tattieman recommends.

I would not put it so that it is in contact with the seed potatoes. If you put it in the furrow work it a bit before planting.
