Munched off broad beans
« on: February 19, 2012, 18:09 »
Ok, so the deer have kindly helped themselves to the tops of my broad beans. It's my own fault as I should have gone home to get another closh instead of just nicking one off the carrots which wasn't long enough to cover the whole row.
Anyway, question is; will the munched ones regrow or shall I just sow some more?

Ps. It's our first season with the deer you see.

Feed the deer with carrots, swede, potatoes, garlic and a few shallots then roast in an oven..

you will have to sort out some fencing deer can jump upto 6 feet. and will eat most of your crops...

keep it organic and you will see the difference including taste......

We're having a few boundary issues lately so the deer are probably just walking in!

Is there anything they don't eat?

Please don't say bindweed.

If only the tops - nice, hm - these are quite often pinched off anyway.
