disinfectant for coop

can i use normal disinfectant what i am cleaning home with for my chicken coop or should i buy special for hen house?

Depends on what and why you are disinfecting. If you need a residual (why would you inside the coop?) then the forum has lots of suggestions. If it is a simple deep cleaning operation then I'd suggest cheap bleach (no thickeners or perfume). Keep birds away from liquid (and protect your own eyes and lungs) - a quick rinse for perches etc but otherwise any dried bleach in crevices etc will quickly degrade to common salt.

I useed the clear detol when i ran out of chuck disinfectant, that one says no odor and is safe on food surfaces
