Sweet peas on fruit cage
« on: February 18, 2012, 00:18 »
Sorry - not sure which section to put this question in, so feel free to move it...

A quick question - I'm considering growing some sweet peas up the inside of my fruit cages in the corners - I love them, the bugs love them...is there any reason why I should not?

In corners, it wouldn't be a problem provided you don't grow so many that the fruit gets shaded.

The only problem is removing the old foliage at the end of the year, as you may tear your netting.
