Mine would walk over hot coals for sweetcorn, :lol: but I buy it frozen and would never grow it just to feed the hens.  As joyfull says, mine get a little in the way of greens to supplement the layers pellets and also a little grated carrot.  I find it makes the yolks darker.  Might just be my imagination though. ::)

Oh, mine too. My OH built an activity centre for the chooks... there's a ladder which is easily 5 ft. high - I tie sweetcorn to the very top and they stumble over each other to see who can reach the top first!  :nowink:
