naked neck hens !!

 :tongue2: Hello gang

im sorry to ask on the forum but i have gone over the for sale section not only in this but other poultry related sites(non matching the high standards we receive on here) and can not find anyone selling naked neck pullets ? do any other poultry lovers out there know of any breeder in the north west or close by to  the north west area ??
My brain is currently not wanting to come up with other places i could check ....i thank you x

The Transylvanian naked neck breed are covered by the rare breeds society so you may want to contact them for breeders  :)

Have seen frizzle naked necks advertised on www.birdtrader.co.uk in North Yorkshire.  Some other naked necks on www.preloved.co.uk in Carlisle.  

Hope you find what you are looking for.   :)

They are lovely birds (quite ugly though) and full of personality. They make good meat birds and probably because of this can have a tendency to overeat - I know the one I had used to eat an awful lot and did become overweight  :(

Joy!!! they are not ugly  :tongue2: though I do believe they may be a bit of a marmite breed.

My NN is a commercial hybrid, and she is lovely.  Despite temperatures down to -20°C over the past week, she hasn't been any colder than my fully feathered pullets!
