Broody Hen

My Marans hen has been broody for weeks now and I have tried every trick in the book. She is trying to hatch everything in the coop. Should I try getting half a dozen day-olds for her to rear or is it too late in the year, bearing in mind that I live in County Antrim and not France (yet!!!)?

They would be alright but wont grow as well as chicks that have warmth and most importantly 16 hours or so of light.
