Grew some summer fruiting ones in a container last yr but didn't plan on the size of the new canes for this year's fruit. They're nearly five feet tall and the container's not deep enough to take the supports I'll clearly need to provide to stop them bending over onto the ground once they start to produce leaves and fruit. Can I transplant them now into a bed before new shoots form or will that kill them off? Many thanks as ever.

They will still be dormant now so should transplant with no problems (apart from those possibly caused by frozen soil in the next few days!)
