hytech onion plants from seed

Hi guys and girls this is my first post so see how it goes! Has anyone grown Hytech f1 onions from seed if so are they really good as they say they are for storing, if so winter onions may become a thing of the past?

I have grown Hytech both from seed and sets. Good onions that keep well. Having said that they will still start to sprout about April/May.

Hi - I tried these last year - they grew well (although they were outdone by my Ailsa Craig and Globo ones - all grown from seed). I'm afraid I can't comment on storage capability, as mine succumbed mainly to onion white rot, so I had to end up freezing what I could salvage!
