Funny Egg

Hi all,

Any eggsperts here???

Just collected the eggs as normal today, I have brown egg layers BTW but today
i have an egg that is brown on the top and white on the bottom... The top is shaped normally but the bottom is like a torpedo, Any idea's???

One of my girls laid a torpedo shaped egg the day after we had suffered high winds, so  I put it down to shock, not sure if thats right but it seemed to make sense

The pigment is the last bit to be added in the process.  So after the shell is formed the covering is applied (colour)

Some times this dosnt go well for any number of reasons!

Nothing to worry about though!
