Rhubarb planting

Just bought a rhubarb plant in a bag of soil, my plot is not ready to receive it yet.
What i want to know is can i plant it in a good size pot until im ready to plant it out?

It will be ok, rhubarb is very hard to kill.

When you do come to plant it, give it a treat of as much well rotted manure as you have, both below the crown and above. :happy: Cheers, Tony..
