Where not to manure?

Shortly we will be rotovating and mixing in manure in the now empty areas of the plot.

Still got cabbage, leeks and cauli in so wont be doing nothing over that part.

Question is, I read somewhere that some veg doesn't like manured ground....so I will leave a space un-manured for those types.

Am I correct in thinking or doing this and also what veg would this be?

dont put it where roots are going ,ie cabbages parsnips etc

Do you mean carrotts and parsnips? I didn;t realise cabbages were root vegetables!

Great help that. Didnt realise there was a gloassary. I will have to open my eyes a bit.
