Hi all

This year I grew celeriac in the same bed as parsnips as a) they're both roots (sort of) and b) they are both winter crops ready for harvesting at the same time. But obviously celeriac need lots of feeding where parsnips need very little, so I had to manure half the bed and results were a lot poorer towards the middle.

SO - anyone have any good suggestions of who should live beside the celeriac this year? I'm planning on growing most of the usual stuff...

How about leeks Savbo, or does that mess up your rotation plans?

now there's a good idea - both like manure I believe, go in the ground only about a month apart, ready about the same time, and I fancy growing a few more leeks this year so a half-bed would be great.

hmm so parsnips could go under the enviromesh with the carrots, and I can squeeze beetroots in where I can...
