2 yrs ago i grew peas, yes a good crop  but full of maggots,i didnt bother this yr  how do you stop the maggot getting in

An early sowing, say end of March, Early April will avoid the worst of the pea moth. Failing that fleece the row to stop them getting in.

Non-orgainic wise, spray as the flowers begin to open.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

If spraying IS required, have you any suggestions on what to spray them with DD?  :)
