Is the allotment accessible by non-plotholders?   It seems bizarre to steal a fig tree if it was someone on the site as it's somewhat more obvious.   You should report immediately the thefts to the allotment committee as perhaps it is non only you having things missing.

Good job you haven't got a goat or they would have nicked that as well! I am so sorry for all your troubles. I can't imagine having to garden where you have to be so aware of theft. Can't do anything but give you a big Goosegirl hug (third one in two days - need to recharge!). Here it comes............ :) ;) :tongue2:  :D xxx
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Harvested about 20 garlic, various sizes, but pretty happy as my first year growing.

Glyphosated a area l am going to run into a bed for next year, will possible put somethink in it when it dies off to make it productive till next Spring.

Planted some beet and spring onions into modules,as theyve been struggling in the ground.

Grass is growing LONG (Husband's job - I hate it!)

I ignored the grass and instead watered, fed, tied in and had a juggle around of the GH toms.  Harvested a ridiculous amount of courgettes (glut already :tongue2:)  Time to get my recipe book out.

Another little posy of sweet peas picked too.

Then had to dash off to see the Olympic torch procession with the children.

Sorry to hear about the fig tree Bill.  We have to lock up our greenhouses whenever there is a boot sale advertised in the paper.

popped down early, dug over where I had lifted potatoes and onions yesterday, dug up a few more spuds that I missed yesterday. it still feels like I am prepping the plot in spring, at least the leeks that are going to seed have produced nice heads, now just got to collect seed.

I added another layer of weed fabric to part of the path. Dug out a little more of the grassed area that is left (not much more to go now :D). Did a bit of weeding, Planted out the last of the tomato plants that were lingering, dying a slow death in the poly tunnel, as there was no more room for any more pots, so rather than waste good compost on weak plants I thought I would at least give them a try in a bit of spare ground, especially as the poor things have fruit on them. Harvested a couple of courgettes. Dug over the green manure bed again, hoping to make this my new strawberry bed. Planted up lots of strawberry runners. Then the heavens opened - and didn't stop, eventually I could see that even if it did stop the ground would be unworkable, so I had no choice but to leave. Still I didn't have to water in the tomato plants! :)

packed up a ton of stuff from myself and my neighbours to donate to our sites table top sale, which we're having this weekend to raise money for the disabled youngsters plot.
Went to my plot and watered the toms in the polytunnel for the first time in 3 days and hope my poor little green toms haven't suffered too much from being dried out.

Did a bit of weeding, added extra string to my pea frames as they are shooting up now.

Picked my first ever runner bean!!!!!!

Just the one on there for now lol.
