The top part of one of my Speckledly's also overlaps the bottom. Knowing Speckledly's and how they love their food, I'll only be taking her to the Vet for a "trim", if it gets in the way of her eating or drinking.
I also read about being able to trim beaks with Nail Clippers, and the book made it sound as easy as trimming my Dogs claws. It's thanks to sites like this that stop us novices making HUGE mistakes like beak trimming and putting our girls through unnecessary stress, not only that, from breaking the Law.
