is this normal? probably a silly question.

i've just been cleaning out the hens' house and found all this flaky white stuff on the ground.

our hens are moulting and i am guessing that the white stuff is just the stuff that covers the new feathers??

we've had to deal with lice recently so i'm hoping this isn't something nasty..it doesn't look like insect eggs but i thought i'd put a post on here to check.

please don't laugh if it's a really dumb question...

If it looks like large peices of white dandruff then entirely normal -not a dumb question at all!!!
