what is the best way to get rid of white fly ? on the allotment,and how do you prevent the little * from returning,Thank you

It's long winded, but using a sprayer, diluted washing up liquid, on the underside of the leaves with gentle thumb / finger pressure dramatically reduces the problem, but maybe 3 goes will be needed to wash off un-hatched eggs at 3 day intervals will get you by until the cold weather prevents hatching and breeding until next spring. It will leave some but a high nitrogen, blood fish and bone feed will perk the plants up leaving them strong enough to negate any harmful affects suffered.
