Horse manure - OK to post details?
« on: October 29, 2011, 08:19 »
Etiquette question: is it acceptable on this forum to post details of horse manure if one knows of people giving it away?  I'm on a horse forum and people are wondering how to get rid of muckheaps...!

Please note the questions about herbicide though!

We do tend to try to make sure that the person with the manure makes the post, so as to potentially prevent any problems where the person doesn't realise the post has been made.

Also, we tend not to leave phone numbers on view in a post as this is a public forum.

Preferably the person will accrue 10 posts on here and can then send PMs to any enquirers with details of location, contact etc.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
