Insulating greenhouse
« on: October 23, 2011, 13:47 »
I saw Monty Don bubblewrapping the inside of his greenhouse on GW. I have a Polycarbonate lean-to and have been given a large roll of bubblewrap. As it could be a harder winter again, is it worth me using it ? I want to grow salad stuff and anything else that may stand a chance.

I've got bubblewrap in both of my greenhouses....1 polycarb, 1 glass :)

If you want to grow salad you'd best get a move on with the seed sowing, if you haven't done it already.

What salad do you grow over winter ? I have sewn a few lettuce and some chard.
