« on: October 22, 2011, 10:36 »
i looked out my kitchen window the other day at my hens and i couldnt figure what was going on there was a right comotion they were running and chasing each other, so i went out there and they had a mouse fighting over it and stretching it ewww, my little boy thought it was fantastic - typical boy i guess! i put traps under their coop just incase of mice and have never caught anything so i was surprised to see they had let alone eating it!!

The only garden animal safe from my Huddersfield hooligans is the hedgehog and I'm sure if they realised it can be turned over and eaten it would be on their menu too :nowink:

Our cat had caught a mouse and was playing with it on the lawn, the mouse made a quick dash into the chicken pen for safety... Mistake! The chickens were running around chasing each other trying to win the prize, the look on the cats face was hilarious he won't let that happen again!
