My Lottie has doubled!!
« on: October 21, 2011, 22:36 »
Great news - my new lottie has doubled in size - reverted back to the original full size. Useable growing space is now 20mt x 10 less a bit for the centre path.. It also has a big Damson tree so chuffed with the prospect of the fruit.. I had started clearing the first side allocated (left side of pic) then had to wait for clearance for the full plot as the other new tennent pulled out so it's mine  :D  :D

I'm so pleased.. I have planned it all so now to get started removing some silly dogwood hedge from the bottom section.

Will move the shed over the weekend from the next door lottie and the GH next week. Clearing and digging start tomorrow..

Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... 2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..

No peace for the wicked, so they say  ;)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I've been really busy today. moved the shed from another lottie and started to get the ground leveled for the greenhouse.  Tomorrow raise the fence a couple of feet, do the base blocks for the GH to sit on then tidy all the pallets etc and get the all the piles of cut greenery ready for a bonfire!!

Hope the weather holds for you.  It's a good time of year to be clearing and putting in the hard work before the winter.  We've been doing the same sort of thing.  Not much planting but lots of plans!  Good luck. :)

Yep - just starting with the major building works and digging the silly hedges out first then did the plot when my sons can help!! it all takes time and will eventually be done.
