We made all our purchases last year as we took our plot on in June 2010 and so planted the main "structure" last autumn/winter.

We got:
8 fruit trees: 2 cherries, 2 apples, peach, 2 pears and a plum tree which we are either fan or espaliering around the border of our plot.

We also bought raspberries, gooseberries and blackcurrants.

We had a fairly good small crop from our peach, 1 of the apples and the raspberries, but the rest are developing their crops for next year (hopefully).

Good luck with your purchases.

I bought Pax from Wilko but do you know they never ripened and the birds got them before I did

Humph! They were not Pax at all. It took me about three years to twig that they'd been mislabelled

I want Autumn Bliss rasps and a Concorde pear and maybe a quince  :)

Autumn bliss was one of my raspberry varieties that did particularly well this year - so I can heartily recommend it.

Is that a spineless variety?

This year, only asparagus. Fruit will be next year after the fruit cage is built...

I fancy a Casseille berry plant, but I'm struggling for space to plant one  :(
