Some of you may remember me posting about my crested gecko's, well it seems Dash & Spike may both be boy's.

Dash wins on pretty colour, spike wins on charm, who wins ?

Who stay's ?

Need to convince O/H to let me get a 2nd tank.  :nowink:

Dash

Spike

Spikes losing.  :(

2 boys will fight, so cannot live together.

is it really costly to set up another tank? i know nothing about cresties - sorry :(

i quite like the look on spike's face in that picture - it would be a shame to have to give up either of them.

I like the thinking.  :D

If I go for a plain tank with the lights I have, about £100-£150, the whole hog, like I have, about £300.

I wouldn't be able to chose between them they are both so beautiful.   :)

Is there much expense in looking after them once you have their home sorted.  :)

Hi spana,

Not really expensive once you have the kit.

We all buy the imported food from America at around £9.99 for 4oz, make up a teaspoon every 48hrs with water & fruit puree.

Bugs every few day's dusted with vits/calcium & that's about it.

So pennies really.

It one of these gecko's that inline for the houseplant on the other thread.

You could try getting the set up second hand, sure there will be loads online.  Try www.preloved.co.uk or gumtree.  Good luck  :)

Spike's staying !!

Managed to get him a new tank cheaply in a pet shop near the new forest.

Just need to set it up & he's ready to move in. Got a few bits, will get more in time.  :D

O/h' s hinting at a lady friend, so who knows.
