where I can get P sticks and bean poles (hazel) in the bershire area have been on the coppiced wood website and in to the directory but I didnt find it very useful

Have you thought of going round your local hedgerows and cutting some, or even hedging in your own garden. I often use the privet from my plot for pea sticks. My mate uses stems of cornus and bits lopped off his ornamental cherry trees for his peas and beans

Contact your local Wildlife Trust, they may be doing some coppicing.
