Brother in law very kindly helped Snowy to a better place. I don't know her true age as she belonged to someone else, but she had stopped laying. She went blind, so slept rather than eat and lost weight.
She is now buried under the gooseberry bush. The other girls are very quiet.
Don't know why she went blind, all of them free range together, but she will be greatly missed. This is the first time I have been able to bury a hen, there are no foxes around here.
