just a little information if anyone is concerned.
i live just a couple of miles down the road from baylams rare breed farm, where bluetongue has been found in two cows.
DEFRA are well on the ball and they have telephoned all concerned holding numbers in the restricted area today, to update us all on whats happening.
poultry is in no way effected and no movement restrictions are on poultry.
bluetongue only happens to sheep and cattle. and all movements have been stopped in the surrounding counties.
