Blight & frost
« on: September 14, 2011, 11:42 »
My tom's have been downed by the wind, have blight & we had a touch of frost last night the O/H said.

I guess them green tom's have had it.  >:(

Even the cherries this year have failed.

green toms with no blight on them, can go on the windowledge to see if they ripen, they often do ;) Just keep an eye out for any that do start to rot instead of ripen, though.

Or make some green tomato chutney
