Lovely chickens, great photos, and what a wonderful place they have to live!  That looks like a nice big pen, and they have plenty of grass (at least for now!)  Those should be very happy girls.

Hi Lindeggs, they are in 20ft x 16ft pen just now, but hopefully once they're used to going into their house at night, I can let them roam further (we have a couple of paddocks surrounds by electric fencing) I really want to make them so happy they have given us such joy already!!

well, Ive been watching them for hours already, and Im afraid I think Miss Speckeldy (aka Dotty Wot) is at the bottom of the pecking order and is very quiet   My Bluebell is the big momma although we are taking her back to our supplier tomorrow for an exchange as she has a crooked foot...so maybe once she's gone Dotty Wot will get her moment to shine

thankyou Normandymary, lovely robust girls aint they? I got them from a breeder listed on this site so its thanks to Poultry Pages for my brood! I really would like a cream legbar and a welsummer to add to my little family but Im so pleased with my pretty ladies!
The R.I.R is eating out of my hand already and doesnt mind a cuddle. Looking forward to them running up to me for treats   xxxx
