My chicken has tourettes

Well it would, wouldn't it  

Star, my fabulous broody Sussex, has developed the chicken equivalent of tourettes   To be honest, she's not really been normal since she kicked the chicks out.  One night the epitome of chicken mother love, next morning, psycho with a beak :blink:   

She started laying almost immediately but it was a while before we realised, only stumbling, literally, over the nest with her on it while using the bush cutter   No limbs or feathers were lost

She's still not laying in the coop   preferring the airy nest 4 feet up the conifers where she sits screeching at the top of her chicken lungs.  Not, 'bukbuk, I've laid an egg, I'll be back with you in a minute bukbuk', more, 'screech screech, come near me and I'll bite you head off, screech screech!!!'  Even best friend Tallulah had enough

But it doesn't stop there, oh no, this is my chicken remember.  She launches herself, a la cannon ball from barrel and for the next half hour charges round the garden, wings flapping, neck outstretched bashing into rabbit hutches, runs, me if I'm out there, chickens who don't anticipate her coming and bouncing off feeders before abruptly stopping :blink:  She'll give herself a quick shake before wandering off round the garden bukbuk, screech screech, wander, bukbuk screech screech wander for another half hour

She's at it again, right now, the target of her rant today is one of the rabbits who foolishly stayed drinking rather than run away    

Oh, wait, it's the bantam chicks turn now, she's chased them away from the feeder, never breaking rant I may add.  The adult poots were gently snoozing in the sun under the privet but with psycho chicken storming up and down the garden, they've given up and gone next door   She even manages to rant while she's drinking
