how do I put my onions on a string ??

there is a step by step guide in my GYO magazine but frankly I think I need diagrams as well everyone (who gardens) says it's easy but no one has shown me any tips ??

There are also other good videos on Youtube for various ways of stringing or plaiting onions. I suggest you have a look at a few and choose whichever you think will suit you best. There doesn't seem to be one definitive way to do it!
