My OH bought me four new hens tonight ....apparently the lady said they are all hybrids they sell bluebell speckled and a brown hybrid beginning with c (he can't remember) ...I can't think what it is can anyone else?

Naughty but nice   Could it be a Calder Ranger this is brown and a cross of Rhode Island Red and Light Sussex.  How are you getting on with them intergrating?

Well we have decided not to  separate them as oh has been going to see them all week and assures me they are all healthy :s I was a bit worried as they are four big hens and I currently have four bantams and only one big hen, however I needn't of worried as it seems my araucana bantam is the boss and she put them straight in their place. Iv put out six feeders and drinkers and having just let them out this morning they all seem fine with the new ones just staying the other side of the run from the original ones so fingers crossed in a few weeks they will be used to each other ....purple spray at the ready just incase.

Glad they are Ok, i asked because I also aquired 3 hens yesterday and when it came to going in the coop last night the original one was having none of it! They will be mixing soon...
