Question about Spagghetti Squash

Ready when yellow, I ate one last week, but they don't store for as long as pumpkins.

I cut mine in half and microwaved each half for a couple of mins before oven baking with a knob of butter in the hole where the seeds were.
When it was soft i forked out the strands, seasoned it, and topped with tomato/onion/courgette pasta sauce.
It made a pleasant change to pasta
