Artichokes - when do you stop harvesting?
« on: August 14, 2011, 21:58 »
Hi I have 2 year old plants that are producing a lot of small heads.  I am not sure if there is a point I should stop harvesting and let them go to seed or keep taking the flowers off.

Any advice on what is best for the plants long term would be appreciated.

Regards

Aub

You can keep taking them to eat for about another month :) After that I'd nip of any that form while small to build the plant up a bit for the winter.
